Evolution Match Predictions

Who’s pumped for Evolution? This girl is! As a woman who has always loved pro-wrestling, this is major. And yes, all women’s pro-wrestling companies exist and Impact Wrestling held its One Night Only Knockouts Knockdown in 2013, this is a historic moment for the WWE. There are a few things that I thought the WWE, could have done better with the pay-per-view promotion, but I think Evolution will be entertaining. It may even surprise many of its critics and all the skeptics.

I’m also excited to see everyone’s special ring gear. I know there will be some memorable and fashionable gear. The card is small, less than 10 matches. This should allow for longer more, exciting matches. I’m looking forward to Evolution! I’m rooting for everybody.

Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nikki Bella for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship

Winner: Ronda Rousey

Say what you want about this match, but Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella have done a great job building this match, especially on social media. Taking their promos to social media has garnered a lot of publicity from non-wrestling news sources, which will guarantee this match the main event spot. We may get to see some twin magic on Sunday. Although Brie may become a factor in the match, I don’t think she will cause Ronda to lose.  Nikki will tap. Ronda will retain.

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship in a Last Woman Standing match

Winner: Charlotte Flair

This match is a tough one to predict. On one hand, there is the champion, Becky Lynch. Since her heel turn back at Summerslam, Lynch has done such a good job. As of late, Lynch has become a savage. She’s stalked Charlotte and attacked her everywhere she goes. Yep, Lynch is the heel champ the main roster’s women division deserves. Then we have Flair, a seven-time Women’s Champion. Currently, Flair is tied with Trish Stratus. I’m sure Flair will break Stratus’ record, and I think she’ll do it today. Especially since there have been rumors that Lynch’s jaw is fractured. There have also been reports that Ric Flair will be in attendance. Does this mean he will come out and celebrate with his daughter. Is Charlotte winning tonight?

Kairi Sane (c) vs. Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship

Winner: Kairi Sane

Lately, I’ve been wondering if Shayna Baszler will be getting called up to the main roster in the next couple of months, possibly after Survivor Series. Both Raw and SmackDown is in need of more serious heel type. While this is highly unlikely to happen, maybe Baszler will début as a face to help Rousey take on the Bella Twins. Even if Baszler stays in NXT for a while, I don’t think she is getting the title back.

Toni Storm vs. Io Shirai 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament final match

Winner: Toni Storm

This year is definitely Toni Storm’s year. Unlike Io Shirai, Storm participated in last year’s Mae Young Classic. Storm made it all the way to the semifinals but was eliminated. Ironically, it was Shirai’s good friend Kairi Sane who eliminated Storm in last year’s tournament. In a way, Storm may be able to avenge herself by beating Shirai.  In addition, winning would give Storm more momentum in NXT UK, as she is one of the faces of the brand.

Trish Stratus and Lita vs. Mickie James and Alicia Fox

Winner: Trish Stratus and Lita

It’s unfortunate that Alexa Bliss, due to injury, wouldn’t be able to take part in such a historic pay-per-view. Taking her place in the match is Alicia Fox. Fox definitely deserves a chance to shine and take part in something other than the Battle Royal. She’s a trailblazer, talented, and entertaining. But despite Fox and James best efforts, I think Stratus and Lita will be victorious.

Historic Women’s Battle Royal for a women’s championship match

Winner: A SmackDown superstar

It’s hard to select a winner in a Battle Royal filled with superstars from the past and the present. But since this is for a future championship match, I doubt any of the superstars from the past will win. But if I did have to narrow the competition down to possible winners, I’m choosing either Ember Moon or Nia Jax from Raw. From the SmackDown roster, I’m choosing either Asuka or Naomi. Since there is only one SmackDown match on the pay-per-view, I think a SmackDown superstar will win.

Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan)

Winner: Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Natalya

Team Banks, Bayley, Nattie will win. But most importantly, what’s next for The Riott Squad? Since their début, The Riott Squad has made a name for themselves. They’ve proved that they are a great heel fraction. Most recently, they’ve lost to Rousey and the Bella Twins on many occasions. Can The Riott Squad regain their momentum tonight by defeating Banks, Bayley, and Natalya? Probably not.
